When your film footage is ready to be edited, you will be asked to watch it, and make any changes before the final cut. Many companies will give you the uncut footage to take away but you should be mindful that making further copies will require their permission, and in some cases, a payment.

When you take delivery of your final edited film, it is advisable to sit down, and watch it in full to check that it is correct. Any problems should be referred back to the company. Most video firms will keep a copy of your tapes and these can be used to make future copies or simply stored as a back up in case your copy is damaged or lost.
